Irrigation Systems Design with WaterCAD

Gashuri Yves Lionel is a water and environmental engineer with around a decade of experience in design and implementation of water projects across number of fields from agricultural irrigation to water supply networks in the big communities.

Among the projects he worked on include: Feasibility study and detailed designs for water supply and irrigation networks from Muvumba multipurpose dam in Nyagatare district by African Development Bank;.

The feasibility study and detailed designs of water supply and sanitation system from Akagera river in Kirehe district., Technical study and design of irrigation systems for Rwanda Institute of Conservation Agriculture., ISOKO Y’UBUZIMA project, a five-year Rwanda water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) activity funded by the US Agency for international development (USAID), Feasibility study, detailed design and supervision works for the construction of Ngoma river water supply system,. and many more. All of these projects brought Gashuri a vast exposure and technical experience that has helped him to qualify as an official instructor for WaterCAD in any water related training.
