Soft Skills Training for Engineers
The research shows that 85% of job success comes from having well-developed soft and people skills, and only 15% of job success comes from technical skills and knowledge, according to research conducted by Harvard University, the Carnegie Foundation, and the Standard Research Center. So, where do Rwandan engineering professionals stand? It is clearly known that, from fresh college graduates to 30 years-experienced engineers in Rwanda, soft skills are a big problem.
