With the accreditation from Autodesk, we are introducing Fusion 360 technology in the technical colleges that teach mechanical engineering in Rwanda. To train students and lecturers on how this next generation tools can help prepare students for their future careers. Presentation should emphasize ‘mindset’ modern engineering versus ‘task’ traditional engineering.
Targeting faculty of production and manufacturing, we will present and showcase the end-to-end product innovation platform of Fusion360. Train on all areas of the product: CAD, CAE, and CAM. We use multiple point solutions throughout our Design & Manufacturing curriculum, which means we have to learn and teach multiple products, workflows, and UIs.

Multiple software applications are difficult to teach when we are pressed for curriculum time, we do not receive much enablement support to learn multiple software applications.
Fusion360 is a one platform that replace multiple point solutions saves resources, time, and set aside funds, which can be spent elsewhere, it is easy to learn solution with the same UI for multiple workspaces enables fast onboarding for faculty and students, and it has multiple self-guided learning titles are available from the Design Academy for faculty or students.
The goal is to reach every college in Rwanda that needs this solution, upon the commend of ministry of education. This May 2022, we will be working with 4 colleges of Rwanda polytechnic that have manufacturing in their mechanical engineering department. Later after RP Colleges, we immediately go on with University of Rwanda colleges.
