JOB OVERVIEW
Nziza Global Tanzania, is the duplication of Nziza Training Academy in Rwanda specialized in training and licensing cutting-edge technologies including CAD, CAE, CAM, BIM, and Digital Twin. We are seeking a Rwandan highly skilled Business Assistant to work from Dar es salaam office. Our mission is to bridge the gap between higher education and industry needs in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Manufacturing (AECM) sectors by providing internationally recognized certifications.
As the only authorized training center for Autodesk, Midas, Prota, and Bentley in Tanzania, we deliver official certifications to professionals across the country, empowering them to excel in the global market. The Business Assistant will play a critical role in driving day-to-day operations, building long-term partnerships, and expanding our client base in Tanzania using the network we have already built.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of service delivery while strategically developing the business to meet industry demands. This role requires strong leadership, proficiency in Swahili, expertise in strategic thinking and high-level deal closing skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of Nziza Global Tanzania to ensure smooth functioning.
- Coordinate with various teams (training, finance, customer support, and marketing) to maintain high operational efficiency.
- Manage all logistical aspects, including scheduling training programs, managing instructors, and ensuring the availability of resources and tools.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, proposing improvements and solutions where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
- Sales and Deal Closing:
- Identify and pursue potential sales leads and follow up with leads generated through various channels.
- Present the academy’s training solutions to potential clients in a compelling and results-driven manner.
- Negotiate and close deals that align with the company’s goals and vision.
- Meet or exceed sales targets by developing long-term business relationships with clients.
- Strategic Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to increase Nziza Global Tanzania’s market presence and partnerships.
- Identify and target potential long-term clients and partners within government, private organizations, NGOs, and academic institutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to drive new business opportunities.
- Lead efforts in expanding the company’s client base in Tanzania by engaging with decision-makers, attending industry events, and building rapport with industry leaders.
- Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities for growth in the Tanzanian market.
- Financial Oversight:
- Collaborate with the financial team to develop budgets and forecasts for the branch.
- Ensure cost-effective operations and monitor expenses while seeking opportunities to increase profitability.
- Partnership Building:
- Foster partnerships with other businesses, academic institutions, and government agencies to position Nziza Global Tanzania as a leading training provider.
- Work closely with the Tanzania team to understand local market needs and challenges, tailoring strategic approaches accordingly.
- Reporting:
- Provide regular reports to the executive team on operational performance, strategic progress, client acquisition, and partnership development.
- Use performance metrics and analytics to guide decision-making and demonstrate the value of strategic initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Swahili (speaking and listening) is mandatory. Proficiency in English is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales management, or a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and close business deals.
- Experience in managing teams and day-to-day operations.
- Ability to start from available data and set achievable sales goals, meeting pre-determined income goals.
