Bridge Design with MIDAS Civil

Birori Jean is an experienced civil engineer, concluding a master’s degree of structural engineering at Changzhou University/China.

With technical interventions in structural design and analysis, He has been in construction industry since 2006, untill 2018 when he oriented his career in tackling hefty structures like bridges. 

Having been trained and certified by South Korean MIDAS as a prominent user of Midas Civil software in bridge design and analysis, BIRORI has worked on numerous culvert and box bridges.

He has also worked RC Slab and other types of bridge projects in Rwanda including technical design and detailing of Mukunguri Bridge between Ruhango and Kamonyi districts, Rurangazi Bridge and Road deviation project, flood control structures at Gihira hydropower plant project, and so on. 

Through his career, He has acquired a wealth of knowledge and technical skills of designing reinforced concrete structures, seismic assessment, bridge designs, material specifications, material testing, and geotechnical report analysis. His experience is focused on the use of bridge engineering software like Midas Civil and he is trained on the cutting-edge use of it in the structural design and analysis of different types of bridges..
