Armand Chris is a Detail-Oriented Structural Engineer that has extensive experience working directly with a wide variety of building and special structures. Adept at doing an accurate stress analysis on a structure, planning strong building construction and assisting in long-term structural stability. With both architectural and structural software practical skills, Armand has oriented his career in technology-led engineering practices.
Having practical experience on the professional use of world’s leading building engineering software like Protastructure and Midas nGen plus Midas Civil for bridge engineering, Armand is our Midas certified instructor trained on the cutting-edge use of Midas nGen software in structural design and analysis of different types of scenarios in the construction industry.
Among the major projects he has delivered include: structural design of Butaro Hospital Remodeling Project, and Sainte Famille Hotel Refurbishment, structural feasibility study and detailed design of over 100 tanks of water supply chain for Ngoma River, Muhazi water and Kivu belt water supply.
Moreover, he has gained powerful package of training on digital construction design technologies as he attended courses like bridge design with Midas Civil software delivered by MIDAS, structural design with Revit structure, managing building adaptation in a sustainable approach by Delft University of Technology, architectural imagination by Harvard University, Performance -Based Design and Assessment by Protastructure, cities and the challenge of sustainable development by SDG Academy, BIM & Revit architecture by Autodesk and so on.
