Alexis NIYOYIGENERA

Alexis is a highly accomplished geotechnical engineer with vast experience and international expertise in the industry. Having worked on complex geotechnical engineering projects, he has a demonstrated record in delivering top quality and optimum performance for the construction industry. With a master’s degree in geotechnical engineering from renowned University of Chlef, Alexis is one of the few geotechnical experts available in Rwanda. He is known for his outstanding deliverables in tackling all aspects of geotechnical works from laboratory to site.

Having handled most of the major projects in Rwanda and beyond, Alexis is a geotechnical consultant for Monitoring/ Supervision of rehabilitation, Upgrading and Multiyear Maintenance of Indicative Feeder Roads in Rutsiro, Gakenke and Nyabihu in Nothern and western provinces of Rwanda. He has worked as a geotechnical engineer for Kigali city selected urban road where he was responsible for insitu and laboratory testing, preparation of draft geotechnical report, identification of sources of materials, slopes stability analysis. He has also accomplished different multibillions projects as senior geotechnical engineer including the construction of IRCAD Africa, Construction of 25Km highway interchange in Algeria, Geotechnical investigation of real estate NDERA affordable houses, Construction of Kigali arena, Gabiro airstrip project and so much more.

Having practical experience on the professional use of world’s leading geotechnical engineering software like Midas GTS NX, Alexis is our Midas certified instructor trained on the cutting-edge use of Midas GTS NX and Midas SoilWorks software in geotechnical design and analysis of different types of scenarios in the industry.
